Day 22 – Mono Monday – Motion Moment

I went off to the Wiki-P pages to find some sort of definition for monochrome photography – here is what the page started with…

Monochrome photography is photography where each position on an image can record and show a different amount of light, but not a different hue. It includes all forms of black-and-white photography, which produce images containing tones of neutral grey ranging from black to white.

However – sometimes a monochrome can be an unedited version of a colour photo – when the light adds touches of hue to a very dull scene. OK, I made that up but hey, this is a creativity challenge post so occasionally you can forgive me for creating my own version of truth, can’t you? So… here we have a colour photo… I kid you not!

OK – so… I’ll share the B&W version – just in case you think the one above was already B&W…

If you’re bored… you can play the “spot the differences” game – no prizes for guessing how many subtle hue changes you can spot. I’m merely suggesting a bit of cabin fever relief… just in case this Monday is another shade of monochrome… namely BLUE!
