OK, so… this week I was aiming to do a series of posts including very little text. The main reason? I think people are not in the mood for reading much these days – a quick photo here, a quick comment or like there – that seems the way blogging is moving. However, I’ve had quite a few folk wondering how things are going with us.
So… to begin with – we are very careful, as my good lady’s father lives with us. He will be ninety early next month… so, we have to be careful! However – we are also a whole lot more fortunate than others. We are allowed to walk for exercise. Two kilometre radius from home. That means we can wander about quite freely. And, of course… as you may well have surmised – the camera likes walking too!
We’ve also been blessed with mostly good, sunshine weather – very little rain and almost no dull, grey days. That means it is a pleasure to go for a walk. Initially we suspected that the beach would be out of bounds but it seems we may still be within our radius, if we walk there and back and not meander along the beach. So, we’ve explored other areas and found that the river walk offers much. More to follow later this week as I’m putting together an April YouTube clip… for the fun!
Right – we are safe, we are careful and we are fortunate and blessed – thanks to all who have wondered! In return, I trust you are all well – and as I am prone to say these days…
stay safe – be happy!
OK – for Irene’s challenge today – how about one of the many closeups I’ve been taking while out on our walks? In keeping with the spring dandelion flush… how about a puffball macro? Yes… I had to crawl around on the spiky grass again… just for my art!
