Tuesday Tales – a Review from Finland!

Yes… a review from way more north than I have even been. However, the review is by a friend who hails from my part of the world but love drove her as far north as what about any South African can get from their homeland. I have told you about Khaya before – look hereand here and here too. But… why don’t you rather visit her blog and find out for yourself?

So, I’ll share Khaya’s review of The Lucky Thirteen… in the hope that it may inspire you enough to have a second look for yourself – simply click on the front page image just here to your right… it will take you to the Amazon page and all the reviews, plus my short synopsis of each of the thirteen tales.

OK… I’ll rest this short series after today’s post – because everyone who I’ve told you about is also a blog buddy that you should follow. One more tit-bit of information… Kyaha is also a regular contributor to the Saffer Worldwide magazine, for which I am deeply grateful and appreciative!

  1. Wow, Vossie! It’s not very often I get to read a review I wrote a long time ago. This is encouraging for me as a reader as I always make an effort to review most books I read. I still remember the great impression your story, The Old Man and the Fish, left on me. So, it really warms my heart to hear that my feedback propelled you forward in your writing endeavours.

Looking back at your previous features, I’m touched and grateful for your support. Writing can be hard at times, and even keeping a blog can be lots of work. It’s really good to see that not all is in vain. THANK YOU!

p.s. I don’t know why I didn’t do this earlier, but I’m now subscribed by email and I hopefully won’t miss any of your posts in the future. 🙂

Vossie, ek het my entoesiasme verloor.

Jy maak my dag.
