The Year That Was 2020 – July to September

So we stumble on… into the second part of the year that was 2020 – the year of all years! OK so… at one point we were liberated enough to be allowed out of our counties. In early September we did a chore dash to the big Dublin smoke… the furthest we’d been in months.

We also kept our spirits up by staying outdoors as much as possible – even during the odd wintery rain shower at the height of summer! The back garden offered a gardening option – so veggies and flowers turned the place into a brighter place. Fun – this keeping up of spirits during this silly year! From blackberry harvests to metal detecting… we packed in as much activities as possible… to break the indoors obsession forced upon the population!

  1. I love it that so many people around the world took to doing similar things during this crazy year. I took to gardening and have some nice veggies growing. We didn’t go out too much, both hubby and I are introverts so we were happy staying in our home space.
PS – nice to see a potjie pot in your pics.
Have a wonderful New Year celebration and may 2021 exceed your expectations.
