I’m going on a detour. Yes… as Jeffgolenski invites us to think back on traditions and past memories for this week’s challenge, my mind started doing strange things! As an expat I’m reminded of the old home country and it’s traditions. But… I’m also reminded of all the fun and pleasure we’ve had in the new home country. So… as has become my habit with weekly challenges, why don’t I throw in a gallery, again?
Autumn is the season for nostalgia. I think we’d all like to be stuck in this season of our lives. The rich colours and sweet, bountiful harvests remind us of the good times of spring and summer. A stroll along a country lane or canal towpath at this time of the year offers visual feasts… and allows us to create more memories that may one day be what carries us in the winter of our lives.
All very autumnal:)
