Beach Hopping – Irish Style!!

Before I say too much, remember here in Ireland we are less than a month away from the winter equinox… it’s supposed to be Baltic and miserable. Well, the summer was often like that so I suppose we can be thankful when we have days like yesterday! I’ll begin this sequence with a pre-sunrise snap taken at Greystones… at 07h29…

Greystones view... 07h29, 26 Nov 2016

We went off to the next beach. Yep, this was a beach hopping exercise so there seemed no need to hang around while waiting for the sun to make an appearance. This was taken at Kilcoole Beach at 08h03… a few minutes before the sun made it’s appearance.

The view from Kilcoole Beach...

It was chilly but the atmosphere was heating up… the passing ship adding to the view…

Then, at 08h07 the sun arrived on the scene... splendid Kilcoole Beach sunrise

Then the moment arrived… at 08h07 the sun began sticking its bright head above the Irish Sea…

Newcastle Beach... 08h39... beauty at it's best!!

However, we couldn’t hang around forever so we headed on… to Newcastle beach… to watch this beauty play out at 08h39. That point jutting out in the distance is Wicklow Head… the most eastern point of the Irish Republic mainland…

Ma Nature's splendour. Still at Newcastle Beach, Co Wicklow at 08h40

We stayed a short while. I mean, would you resist spending time on the beach when Ma Nature throws light shows of this quality?

Blurry silhouettes of the fishermen at Ennereilly Beach. At 09h36, through the car's windscreen... for effect!

Off again… southbound toward Arklow. We briefly stopped off at Ennereilly Beach to catch the silhouettes of the fishermen through the car’s windscreen… at 09h36.

Now 26, 2016, Arklow's South Beach at 13h26... bright and beautiful!

Finally, we wound our way back to our hometown for a quick visit to Arklow’s South Beach. Yes, the sun rides low in the sky at this time of the year… even after one pm it’s not that high in the sky! However, it was bright enough for us to go beach hopping!

Ek verwonder my daaraan dat julle so vroeg so aan die gang is. Is die strande na aan mekaar, AJ, sê soos by ons George omgewing? Jou fotos is uniek.

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
