Ailsa was just a tad late with her challenge this weekend… so, I’ll begin this week with a few reminders of my most favourite sounds! Waves crashing on the beach… or breakwater, even in a roaring wind… it’s a fine sound!
The crackling fire… reminders of a cool summer’s braai…
The sound of water tumbling over a lock gate… seductive…
Music in the streets… or, buskers entertaining us…
There are so many great sounds we can associate with but most of all… it is where we find peace. For me… a stroll along a scenic river is always a pleasure… it takes my mind to places where life’s noise is pushed out… and serenity rules, even if just for a few hours… before the pressures start pushing… again!
