Symbol – The Papal Cross

Imagine 1.25 million people attending a Papal Mass. That’s quite a few people if you consider Ireland’s population at the time could not have been much more that 4 million! Today the cross still lords over the Phoenix Park… a symbol of faith and unity that drew a nation together for a few moments in time.
