The A to Z Simmer Down

Imagine walking into a pub. No… imagine arriving at one of your favourite holiday destinations for a month-long sojourn. You see old friends. You chat and have the odd party. However, as the month goes by you’re introduced to new friends while all the while keeping up the banter with your old mates.

That, in a way, is how I’d describe the April A to Z. Damyanti twisted my rubber arm and got me to swallow the hook. OK… the good lady didn’t con me… rather, she offered me a key to a month-long blogging pleasure trip. Accepting the invitation has taken me to many new destinations.

So… after a month of fun the party is over. However, I know I’m going to still be entertained by folk who I most likely never would’ve met if I hadn’t accept the key from Damyanti. As for me and my blogging… it will be back to the daily grind. Yes… one or two photos a day. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll find reasons for throwing in a fresh gallery or two but I have to confess, I spent far too many hours putting together the A to Z posts! FUN!!

Happy spring moment!

Glad you were able to join in on the April fun. You captured the concept well in your metaphor.

  8. That’s a good way to describe the A-Z experience – I feel much the same and I shall look forward to your photos… I try to get a blog post in once a week, I could never manage to do it on a daily basis normally! 🙂

p.s. wonders why moondustwriter says WordPress are easy to follow… I don’t have a problem with either Blogger or WordPress.

Sometimes I think daily is too much but I’ve been doing it for more than five years and just keep going! I may want to ease off.
WordPress made it very easy to follow other WP blogs. I used to have blogger buddies but they sort of went by the wayside because there’s a concious effort required to visit their blogs. It seems easier now! I will most likely resurrect my blog roll to keep better track of the blogger accounts! 😉 PS- Did you close the comments on your A to Z? I tried leaving a reply to your last comment but it failed to upload! (Could have been operator error, on my part!) o_O

That is so… I actually had to guard against not neglecting my “regulars”… hopefully all will get a little less hectic now and I can keep up with the doings of old and new! 😉

I value your 'likes' and comments, even though I don't always reciprocate, I care. Thanks for making the effort! God Bless!!
