Summer has some advantages… even if it’s a wet and cold one! The longer days and results of a warmish spell in spring has left us with a few cherries. Yep! Last year was a disaster, we lost the whole “crop” to frost or snow or cold… or whatever. However, this year we’ve nursed a few bunches through. To the delight of the family… and a few sharp-eyed birds! I’ve left the first prize for them… then maybe they’ll leave the others for our enjoyment!
Today is the last day of the sixth month of the year… half of 2016 is gone… where to? Happy mid year to you too!!

Dis lekker om iets te sien groei en dan die vrugte daarvan te kan pluk (letterlik). Dit sal dit soveel meer spesiaal maak wanneer jy dit eendag op julle eie stukkie grond kan plant.

Your cherries look delicious. Fresh fruit is one of the best things about summer.
